Activities Co-ordinator

DCRS has developed our wellbeing and activities package to provide a better and longer lasting offer to asylum seekers and refugees in Plymouth. This role will engage new users and support existing ones with a focus around implementing, managing and developing activities. Our activities vary from various music and arts projects through to access to green and blue spaces across Plymouth and the wider region.

Salary: £24,138 per annum pro rata. This post is for 3 days per week (21 hours per week)
Fixed term – 1 year contract with a 6-month probation period. Role will continue dependent on further funding.

Digital Communications and Fundraising Officer

DCRS has worked across Devon and Cornwall since 1999 with limited visibility apart from to those we serve and a small number of individuals and funders. We conduct large amounts of work across the region which requires appropriate documentation and communication to our partners, the media and the public. This post will manage our social media platforms, our website and newsletter, creating content and developing our following. You will use our existing brand and echo our vision, mission and values.

This post will include supporting the CEO and trustees to fundraise for the organisation. You will use your experience to run events, find new financial opportunities and bid write to support our service.

Devon & Cornwall Refugee Support is seeking a Clinical Lead for our Signposting and Health Advocacy Service. Join us in helping refugees and asylum seekers in Plymouth access essential healthcare services.

GP with interest in global health and working with vulnerable populations.
Ability to oversee clinic operations and provide guidance to medical staff specifically our GP Registrars.

Enthusiasm for working within the third sector and making a tangible difference in the community.
